The ITHANET+ consortium is a network financed by the Research Promotion Foundation of Cyprus. It is dedicated to the maintenance and further development of the ITHANET Portal, a web resource for the haemoglobinopathies developed under the ITHANET project and hosted at the Thalassaemia Department of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING). ITHANET+ is an interim consortium in preparation for ITHANET2, which will once again combine the ITHANET Portal with additional electronic-infrastructure and networking activities concerning haemoglobinopathies.
